1Overview
This policy explains how you can cancel an API service or hosting service with APIAppServices (a unit of Sidd Tech), and what happens to your API keys, data, and billing once you do. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
2How to Cancel
- Open a request in the Messages section of your client dashboard, or email support@apiappservices.com with your account/API key details.
- There are no cancellation forms, exit fees, or minimum notice periods — you may cancel at any time.
- Our support team will confirm the effective cancellation date and any final invoice amount before closing the service.
3What Happens After You Cancel
- Your API key(s) or hosting service remain active until the end of the current paid billing period — you keep full access for what you've already paid for.
- No further invoices are raised once cancellation is confirmed.
- Account and usage data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you wish to reactivate, after which it may be permanently deleted.
- Reactivating after the 30-day window may require a new API request and key issuance.
4Outstanding Invoices
Any invoice already raised — including for the partial period up to your cancellation date — must be settled. Cancellation does not waive amounts already billed for service already rendered.
Cancelling does not automatically refund the unused portion of a billing cycle. See our
Refund Policy for when refunds apply.
5Cancellation vs. Suspension
Cancellation is a voluntary, client-initiated action. It is different from a suspension, which we may apply automatically for non-payment or a Terms of Service violation. A suspended key is reactivated once the outstanding invoice is paid; a cancelled service is closed and does not resume automatically. See Terms of Service, Section 5.
6Hosting Cancellations
For managed hosting services, cancellation may include decommissioning the server or hosting account at the underlying provider (AWS, Hostinger, BigRock, Cantech). Please back up any data you need before the effective cancellation date — we are not responsible for data left on a decommissioned server after that date.
7Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cancellation Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
